You’ll also find a quick breakdown of recent results, so you can connect the data to what’s happening in the market.
In addition to the visualizations, you can explore our About section to learn more about who we are and why we built this project. We created BlackSpark Finance to cut through noise and give investors—especially those relying on the TSP—a simple, trustworthy way to see performance without having to dig through spreadsheets or financial reports.
Looking back at August’s performance, the C Fund stood out with strong gains, reflecting the broader stock market’s resilience, while the S Fund showed more volatility but still ended on an upward trend. The I Fund benefited from favorable international conditions, while the F Fund continued to struggle under pressure from interest rate expectations. The G Fund, as always, provided stability without much movement. These shifts highlight why it’s important to compare both risk and return across funds, not just raw performance numbers.
Our next step is to publish past monthly reports so you can track how the market has evolved over time. From there, we’re working on building a richer database that will provide more granular detail (down to daily movements) as well as a forward-looking tool that offers month-ahead projections.
